RIXONS BUS SERVICE - TOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
2. Deposit
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the tour.
3. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure, unless otherwise advised.
If the balance is not received by the due date, Rixons bus service reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
4. Cancellations
If you cancel your booking:
More than 30 days before departure – deposit forfeited only.
15–30 days before departure – 50% of the total tour price is payable.
Less than 15 days before departure – 100% of the total tour price is payable.
5. Tour Changes
Rixons bus service reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodation, meal venues, attractions or departure times where necessary due to weather, road conditions, venue availability, operational requirements or circumstances beyond our control.
Every effort will be made to provide a suitable alternative.
6. Minimum Passenger Numbers
Tours are subject to minimum passenger numbers.
If minimum numbers are not reached, Rixons Bus Service reserves the right to cancel the tour. In this event, all monies paid will be refunded in full.
7. Passenger Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, staff, drivers and venues visited.
Rixons bus service reserves the right to refuse travel or remove any passenger whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or offensive. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
8. Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol is not permitted on any Rixons bus service vehicle in accordance with NSW public passenger transport regulations.
9. Seating
Seats are allocated by Rixons bus service. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, specific seat numbers cannot be guaranteed.
10. Medical Conditions & Mobility
Passengers are responsible for advising Rixons bus service of any medical conditions, allergies, mobility requirements or special assistance needed at the time of booking.
Passengers must ensure they are medically fit to travel.
11. Dietary Requirements
Dietary requirements must be advised at the time of booking. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, this cannot always be guaranteed by restaurants or venues.
12. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all passengers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs, illness, injury, personal belongings and other unforeseen circumstances.
13. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings.
Rixons bus service accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items.
14. Accommodation
Accommodation is allocated according to the room type booked.
Single travellers booking a twin-share room are responsible for arranging their own roommate unless otherwise agreed by Rixons bus service.
Any additional charges incurred at the hotel (including minibar, room service or damages) are the responsibility of the guest.
15. Photography
Photographs may be taken during tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please notify Rixons bus service before the tour departs.
16. Force Majeure
Rixons bus service is not liable for delays, cancellations or changes resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, bushfires, flooding, road closures, government restrictions, industrial action or supplier failure.
17. Liability
While every care is taken to ensure passenger safety and enjoyment, Rixons bus service accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, damage or expense except where required by law.
18. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of a deposit confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these terms & conditions.
