About the Lights for 2025
Prepare to be dazzled by this year’s annual event, featuring an incredible display of over four million lights and a wide variety of themed installations. The event runs from November to January and includes extended hours, live entertainment, and plenty of delicious food options to enjoy while you soak up the festive fun.
Our Trips to the Hunter Valley
Rixons has been visiting the Hunter Valley Christmas Lights for years, and it’s one of our favorite trips. We love seeing all the incredible effort that goes into creating such a stunning event. The Hunter Valley is a beautiful destination on its own, but the addition of these spectacular lights makes it an unforgettable experience. It’s a trip we always look forward to, and we can’t wait to share the magic with you!
The Itinerary:
- Day 1: Pick up at your door or any of our other location before travelling to the Hunter Valley stopping for a packed morning tea and lunch from Crave Cafe near Hawkesbury River, both costs included in tour. Then continuing to the Harrigans Motel Hunter Valley (included), our home for the duration of our tour.
- Day 2: After breakfast (included), we tour the great wineries, cheese making and chocolate tastings (own cost) of the area, before heading back to the Hunter Valley Gardens for shopping or to Harrigans to relax until the Christmas dinner feast and Christmas lights (both included)
- Day 3: This morning, we board the bus to travel home stopping at Brooklyn for a cruise, morning tea and lunch (all included) on the Riverboat Postman. Then back to on the bus and head for home. Drop off at your door or any of our main locations.
This Tour includes:
- Pick-up and drop at your door or any of our locations up and down the coast.
- Morning tea and lunch from Crave Café on Day 1
- 2 x nights’ accommodation
- Breakfast and dinner
- Christmas dinner
- Entry to the lights event
- Lunch and cruise on the Riverboat Postman
Prices are:
$882 per person twin share and $1,092 per person single sup
